The familys last name xxxx alots any sim family remove parenthesis in the xxxxs with any amount.
The xxxxs with any amount you want.

no unlimited money, but just type this cheat
motherlode
press ctrl shift c at the same time and the box will appear on the top. If you entered the cheat right, the box will dissapear, but if u put it in wrong, an random messages will pop out. it gives you 50,000 (just like the guy said). To do it faster, put in the random stuff in the box and make the box will get larger with bunch of messages. Then put the cheat, and use your up arrow key and press enter. So it should be like this:
up
enter
up
enter
etc…
make sure the message will look something like this:
motherlode
motherlode
motherlode
thats all…to get rid of the box, enter:
exit
done

You can’t do a cheat like that. but this is what I do, its much faster:
in the screen where you look at the neighbourhood once you’ve made a new family or whatever and are choosing where to move them in, press CTRL + SHIFT + C and bring up the cheats box.
Put in “familyFunds (your Sim family’s name) (then any amount of money you want”
do the spaces and everything
I think max # of money a Sim can have anyway is like 999,999.
